About Us

Years ago, after graduating from a pedagogical university, I started working in a kindergarten, teaching children English. It was one of the happiest times in my life—I absolutely loved spending time with kids, helping them learn, and seeing their excitement as they discovered new words.

What started as a single teaching job quickly grew into a full-time career, simply through word of mouth. Parents saw how much their children enjoyed learning with me, and soon, I was teaching extra hours in multiple kindergartens. We used flashcards and offline mini-games, turning learning into a fun and engaging experience.

This is where my dream began—to create something that would help little ones learn in a playful way, no matter where they were. For years, this idea stayed with me. Even as I moved on to build a career in tech companies, I always knew that one day, I would bring this vision to life.

Then, in 2024, I became a mother and I realised that the time had finally come. I wanted to create a safe, educational, and fun way for young children to learn their first English words—just like I had done years ago with my students.

And that’s how FunCards came to be. Every illustration in the app is uniquely drawn by us, ensuring a warm, child-friendly experience that makes learning even more enjoyable.

For Parents & Educators

At FunCards, we believe in balanced screen time. We don’t encourage endless app use, but if children do spend time on screens, let’s make it meaningful and educational. That’s why our app is designed to be engaging yet non-addictive, helping toddlers and young build their first English vocabulary in a fun and natural way.
